Speech at the Annual Conference in China

The Silk Road International League of Theaters was created in 2016 by the Chinese Corporation of China Arts and Entertainment Group on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. The tasks of the association include the development of international cooperation in the field of art and establishing links with Chinese cultural centers abroad.

The main priorities of the the Silk Road International League of Theaters, according to the Declaration: the development of informational cooperation and interaction between members of the organization, the exchange of the best examples of art and coordination of national strategies for cultural development.

To date, dozens of Chinese theaters, more than a hundred institutions representing sixty countries and regions of the world, as well as reputable international organizations and structures such as the French National Theaters Association and the South Bank London Cultural Complex have become members of the league.

The Kyiv Classic Orchestra has been a member of The Silk Road International League of Theaters since its founding. This year, the team is taking part in an annual conference in the Quanzhou City District of Fujian Province and Guangzhou, which is well-known for the modern Opera House designed by architect Zahi Hadid.
