UNESCO and WHO highly appreciated the premiere of the global project "Musical gratitude to medical workers" The project was supported and covered in official UNESCO resources: throughout the implementation period there was a regular informing of the world community through social networks, and at the end - a link to the full version of the concert was published at the
UNESCO website (for the first time in Ukrainian history!).
But UNESCO was not the only international organization that noted the creative efforts of cultural and artistic product created in Ukraine.
The World Health Organization also highly appreciated the world premiere of the global project "Musical gratitude to medical workers "In the Name of Life". It was noted by the WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
He thanked the National Opera of Ukraine, conductor Herman Makarenko and all those who supported the project on his
Twitter page with a link to the
full version of the concert.
Unexpected news for us was the information about the project on the
WHO official website. It happened not only for the first time in the history of Ukraine but also became an extraordinary case for WHO, given the specifics of the activities of this international organization.
Such an international resonance testifies not only to high recognition but also realizes the main goal set by the author of the project Herman Makarenko - to express deep gratitude and respect to medical workers around the world who have been heroically fighting COVID-19 for the second year in a row.
It is a great honor that the creative product we have created for the support and solidarity of healthcare workers around the world has become the common heritage of mankind.
