Manifesto of Will and Democracy: Kyiv Classic Congratulates Colleagues on the Completion of the Creonte Opera Recording
The team of the Kyiv Classic Orchestra sincerely congratulates colleagues and partners from the Global Harmony Art Foundation on a remarkable event – the successful completion of the extensive work on the studio compact disc recording of Dmytro Bortniansky's two-act opera "Creonte". This monumental work, realized in the extremely challenging realities of today, to the accompaniment of constant air raid sirens, enemy shelling, exhausting blackouts, and cold in the studio, is something far greater than just a musical release. It is a true manifesto of will and democracy, which loudly declares that the preservation of cultural heritage is in the reliable hands of true Ukrainians.
The ability to create high art and heroically resist tyranny in this way is an undeniable act of resilience in the sphere of our spirituality and national identity. Dear colleagues, we admire your strength and congratulate you on having persevered, bringing this historic project to a brilliant finale and returning to humanity yet another priceless page of brilliant Ukrainian music.
We also express our deep respect and sincere congratulations to the co-organizers of this recording – the team of the L.I. Medved Scientific Centre, whose systematic support has become a reliable pillar for the arts. We wish this unique work a happy and long creative journey, broad international recognition, and new inspiring achievements for the benefit of a free Ukraine!
